Joshua A. “Josh” Ahl, 39, passed away April 1, 2017 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

 

He was born November 9, 1977 in Tell City, Indiana to Richard and Joyce (Jones) Ahl. 

 

Josh was a graduate of Perry Central High School. He worked in maintenance at Waupaca Foundry.   Josh was a member Union Local #374, the Alton American Legion and the NRA.  He enjoyed restoring old cars, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeler riding, and spending time with his dog, Sampson.

 

Surviving are his parents, Richard and Joyce Ahl, Rome; fiancé, Mendy Crossley, Rome; sister, Vicki Davis (Brian), Rome; nieces, Taeler Ahl, Mayme and Victoria Davis; great nephew, Dakota Winkler and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Proceeding him in death were his grandparents, Leon R. “Bing” Ahl and Julia (Gude) Ahl; Chester and Mamie Jones; step-grandmothers, Lillian (Schellenberger) Ahl and Louise (Harding) Ahl; uncle, Kevin Ahl and nephew, Dakota Ahl.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Paul Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Rowe Cemetery in Rome. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Rome Cemetery Association.
