Beautiful Christmas trees grown in Perry County, Indiana provided Christmas joy to families in southern Indiana for many years. Cannelton neighbors still enjoy the hardwood trees as housewarming gifts. As the area USDA Conservationist, Rudy touched many lives. He was a member of First Baptist church in Cannelton, Indiana and attended Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bowling Green Gardens.
