David Lyons Sr.

Cannelton, Indiana David R. Lyons, Sr., 72, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home. He was born in Tobinsport November 7, 1939 son of the late Kenneth and Beulah (VanConia) Lyons. Also preceding him death were three daughters in infancy, a brother Tom and sister Kay. A U.S. Navy veteran, David retired in 1996 from Willamette after 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, flying and motorcycles. He is survived by two sons, David Lyons Jr. and John Lyons, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Lamb Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes or Disabled Veterans.
