Elijah Meunier

Elijah L. "Eli" Meunier, 17, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016, due to injuries from a truck accident on Friday evening. He was born on September 10, 1998, in Perry County. A lifetime member of the NRA, Eli enjoyed fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends. Surviving are his parents, Cindy and Dave Seibert; sisters, Katie Seibert, Shawn Cassidy and Samantha Boyer-Hanks; brothers, Devin Meunier and Michael Sims; grandparents, Bill Meunier, Debra Foertsch and Darrel and Mary Seibert; great grandmother, Edna Meunier and several nieces and nephews. Eli was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mason Foertsch and great grandparents, Albert Meunier, Bill and Velma "Lee" Pund . Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Augustine Cemetery in Leopold. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. The family requests that family and friends dress for the funeral "Eli's way" - casual, in jeans.
