Hilda Brubeck

Cannelton, Indiana - Hilda ""Dutch"" Brubeck, 84, passed away at 12:05 AM on Wednesday at Golden Living Center - Lincoln Hills. She was born on October 15, 1925 to Conrad ""Coon"" and Roxie (Sumner) Poehlein. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Leonard Poehlein, a sister, Velda Mitchell and her husband, Paul Brubeck. She enjoyed her work as an aide in a nursing home. When she was able, she enjoyed crocheting, taking pictures and making photo albums. Survivors include a niece, Connie Dhonau of Evansville cousins, including, Katherin Richard, Tell City, who cared for her Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2010, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday. Rev. Lee Brown will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Asercare Hospice.
