Lucille M. Swiniuch ""Grandma Lucy"" Tell City, Indiana Lucille M. ""Grandma Lucy"" Swiniuch, 93, passed away Friday August 27, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Lucille was born August 7, 1911 in Fayette County, Illinois the daughter of the late Milton and Elizabeth (Traxler) Roe. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Harold Bone in 1964 and Joseph Swiniuch in 1976, a sister, May Blankenship, a sister in infancy, Flossie Roe, and three brothers, Carl, Roy, & Dossie Roe. Grandma Lucy moved to Perry County from Chicago in 1977 where she was a nurse at Glidden Paint Company. She enjoyed holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween when she would dress in costumes to entertain the nursing home residents. An organist at her church in Illinois, she also played the harmonica, guitar, and banjo and enjoyed quilting, dancing and gardening. Survived by: Daughter: Shirley Sarnowski, Tell City, Indiana Her loving caregiver, Steve Kuhr, Tell City, Indiana Four grandchildren: Sharon Turner, Tammy & Terry Sarnowski of Tell City, Indiana and Lynn Vaughn of Slaughters, Kentucky Nine great grandchildren & Four great great grandchildren Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday August 31, 2004 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, Indiana with burial in Greenwood Cemetery at Tell City. Pastor Milton Pledger will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel.
