Tell City, Indiana Alice F. Kleaving, 79, passed away September 16, 2022 at her home in rural Tell City, surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Croix on September 29, 1942 to Estel and Jessie Mae (Wiseman) Rohl. Alice was a graduate of Oil Township School and was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and former member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She and her husband owned and operated Hubert Kleaving Farms in rural Perry County. In her earlier years, Alice liked to fish and squirrel hunt. She enjoyed working word search puzzles, watching Dr. Pol on television and taking drives with her husband, "Hube" and their dog, Macy. Surviving are her children, Diana Hedinger (Charles), Randy Kleaving (Dawn), Darlene Davis (Tim) and Rick Kleaving (Sarah), all of rural Tell City; brother, Bill Rohl (Nancy), Schnellville; sister-in-law, Marlene Rohl, Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Jared Hedinger (Alie), Clint Hedinger (Jay Vasse), Blake and Adam Kleaving, Lauren Gaynor (Brandon), Emily Alvey (Daniel), Claire Davis, Tyler, Tayton, and Tinley Kleaving and great grandchildren, Brandt and Katherine Hedinger, James Alvey and is expecting a great granddaughter in November. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hubert C. "Hube" Kleaving and brothers, Irvin, Charles and Novey Rohl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM CDT on Monday, September 19, 2022 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-6:00 PM and Monday 8:00-9:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church, St. Mark Cemetery or Anderson Township Fire Department.
