Tell City, Indiana Bill "Buck" Jarvis, 87, passed away August 23, 2021. He was born in Cloverport, Kentucky on March 7, 1934, son of the late Ollie Jarvis and Beula Mae (Sago) Edmondson. Also preceding him in death was his wife Bethelyn Jarvis; his son, Barry Jarvis; grandson, Logan James; sisters, Anna Mae Sheldon, Louise Gayheimer and Mary Elliott and brothers, Franklin Jarvis and Everett Louis Jarvis, in infancy. Buck had worked at Tell City Chair Company and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and hunting. He is survived by his companion and first wife, Eva (Jones) Hinton; children, Dan Jarvis (Yvette), Huntington, IN, Ed Jarvis (Patty), Terlton, OK, Rita Dickman (Barry), Lafayette, Tressie James (Ralph Harding), Rocky Point, and Johnny Jarvis (Christy), Grandview; daughter-in-law, Tina Jarvis, Hawesville, KY; siblings, Kenny Jarvis, Champaign, IL, David Jarvis, IL, and Wanda Boren, Hardinsburg, KY; 14 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CDT Friday, August 27, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Deer Creek Cemetery. Bro. David Boren will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Cemetery.
