Bonnie Jo (Keaton) Horne, 76, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 9:30 P.M. She was cherished by all who knew her.

She was born on July 25, 1949, daughter of the late Laura (Traves) and Dan Keaton, Sr.

Proceeding her in death includes: her husband, Walter (Bud) Curry Horne; her infant grandson, Evan Tyler Kellems; and her siblings, Irene (Claude) Marcum, Dan (Bud) Keaton, Mag Anselmi, Bill Keaton, and an infant sister, Gustava Keaton.

Bonnie leaves behind two daughters, Tina Horne of Jasper and Tammy Horne Moss of Greenwood; her pride and joy granddaughter, Allison Ferguson (Logan) of Greenwood; and her brother, Curtis “Curt” Ray Keaton, Sr. of Dubois.

When she wasn’t working at her variety of past jobs including time at the Schrieber Drugs, TG&Y, Index 3D, and the Schnitzelbank, she enjoyed spending time with family and her dog, Nikko. Her favorite activities included camping and being outside, traveling and vacationing, going to concerts, and enjoying IU Basketball.

She was an unbelievably kind person who was a friend to all. To know her was to love her. She will be so missed by all. “Will the circle be unbroken, By and by Lord, by and by - There's a better home awaiting, In the sky Lord, in the sky.”

Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is assisting the family with Bonnie’s arrangements. There will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society (duboiscountyhumane.org) or to the Alzheimer’s Association (alzfdn.org).
