Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Bradley A. Bruggeman, 58, passed away on August 22, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, surrounded by his family.

Brad was born on June 14, 1968, son of Henry and Margaret (LeClere) Bruggeman. He was a 1986 graduate of Perry Central High School.

On September 12, 1998, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Brad was united in marriage to Kimberly Adams. The parents of two daughters, Sierra and Kelsey, that began the “Girl Dad Era” for Brad. He was known to be the “Bossy Dad” for always giving advice to their friends, yet he fully embraced his “Cheer Dad” role. However, his life lessons came from his love and protection that comes with parenting and the girls will always remember the “be careful and watch for deer” when leaving the house.

Brad was a fan of NASCAR, Caitlyn Clark and Indiana Fever basketball. He enjoyed motorcycles-if it wasn’t a Harley, took it upon himself to teach Cole how to “properly” detail cars, sharing his love of guns with Andrew and doting on his beloved cat, Bella. During the holidays, when the family would make “peanut butter balls”, Brad could be found eating several before they were even fully done.

Brad was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and 35-year member of Anderson Township Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Waupaca Foundry where he worked for over 25 years.

It was always important to Brad to be an organ donor, and he was able to fulfill that wish by being a cornea donor.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kim Bruggeman; daughters, Sierra Bruggeman (Andrew Hauser) and Kelsey Granderson (Cole); his parents. Henry and Margaret Bruggeman; a sister, Angie Smith (Kevin). He is also survived by Kim’s family, Virgil and Monie Adams, Tom Adams, Rita Barnett (Eric) and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Rev. Tony Hollowell will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 3:00-7:00PM and Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church or Anderson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
