Charles Anderson Sr.

Charles A. "Charlie" Anderson, Sr., 73, passed away on April 1, 2020. He was born in Perry County on November 12, 1946, son of the late Dwight Anderson and Monzella (Daum) Tindle. His daughter, Stacie Anderson, also preceded him in death. Charlie retired from Aristokraft in Ferdinand and was a co-owner of Charlie's Tavern, formerly in Cannelton. He enjoyed gardening and whittling sticks, making them into walking canes. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Judy (Hargis) Anderson; sister, Carolyn Etienne (Ron) of Santa Claus and brother Doug Sabelhaus of Crestview, Florida. As per Charlie's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Huber Funeral Home will be assisting the family with his arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
