Cindy L. Davis

Cindy L. Davis, 54, passed away December 13, 2024, surrounded by her family. 

 She was born on February 10, 1970, and was a 1988 graduate of Southridge High School. 

Cindy had managed Circle S (Main and Payne Street in Tell City), was a manager at Pilot Truck Stop (at Carefree, IN) and had worked at Masterbrand (Ferdinand) for 15 years, where she was a supervisor. Cindy was currently a driver for Bestway Trucking. She loved her job as it allowed her to drive and see the United States. After her cancer diagnosis, Cindy took up latch hooking and taught herself DIY projects such as installing shiplap, back splashes and other projects. 

Surviving is her companion, Tony Pohl; her children, Dakota Harlen (Tara), Maverick Brock (David), Montana Harlen (Mandy) and Clancy Hammond (Patrick); her parents, Mary Metz and William “Scott” Davis; a brother, Tony Davis (Angie) and grandchildren, Mavis Harlen, Levi Applegate, Zaiden and Xavier Brock, Waylon Harlen, Taz, Tweety, Rodney, Ariel and Jack Harlen, Casper, Dorothy, Johnny and Keristen Hammond. 

Preceding her death were grandparents, Sidney and Mary Burns, "D" Hall, Clyde and Hazel Davis and stepfathers, Lloyd Metz and Bill Harlen. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 3:00-7:00 PM CST at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. There will not be a funeral service. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice. The family would like to express their appreciation to everyone involved at Heart-to-Heart Hospice for the care they gave to Cindy.
