Curtis Cronin, Sr.

Cannelton, Indiana - Curtis A. Cronin, Sr., 66, passed away at his home on June 19, 2022. He was born in Tell City on December 8, 1955, son of Carl and Betty (Reed) Cronin. Curt was well known for his tree trimming business and enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing and playing poker and euchre. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he always looked forward to their visits. Surviving is his son, Curt Cronin, Jr. (Lori); siblings, Martha Birchler (Paul), Carl "Boo" Cronin, Jr., Nancy Lane (Ray), Rick Cronin (Julie), Opal Lane, Kay Flamion (Roger), Johnny Cronin (Kathy) and Mary Shrewsberry (Bob); grandchildren, Jordan Clark, Jamie Cronin, Kayden Skomp, Justin Cronin, Koi Cronin and Zach, Jr., Zane, Jayden and Zander Poehlein. Curt's parents, wife, Debbie (Lane), daughter, Amy Poehlein and a son, Jamie, in infancy, preceded him in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Ed Heatherington will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
