Tell City, Indiana –
Cynthia A. Cain, 33, passed away on October 21, 2024. She was a native of Perry County, the daughter of Kevin Etienne and Stacey Jackson.
Cynthia was a 2010 graduate of Perry Central High School and had a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University Southeast. She used her degree to touch the lives of lots of children, many of which became like family to her.
She married Tyler Cain in September of 2019. Her whole world, Liam Gyth, was born on December 11, 2020. Cynthia enjoyed mule rides with Tyler and Liam with their dogs, Eva and Scout tagging along. They attended Redemption Christian Church.
She was “Aunt Cyn” to many as she loved being around kids whether they were relatives or not. Cynthia will be remembered as always willing to lend a helping hand, even when she herself wasn’t physically able to do so anymore.
Surviving are her husband Tyler and their son, Liam; father, Kevin Etienne; mother, Stacey Jackson; brother, Nic Etienne; sisters, Krystal Craney (Josh), Rachel Ward (Keith), Laranda Wheatley and nieces and nephews, Wick, Rory, Jeri, Kali and Trak Craney, Laurie, Jocelyn, Mason and Koe Wayne Etienne, Ben and Jackie Ward, R.J. Wheatley and Carter and Ella Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her father, Scot J. Etienne, when she was young.
A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held at 7:00 PM CDT on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Corey Andry will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Cynthia’s memorial contributions be made to help cover funeral and medical expenses.
