Dakota Hahus

Lamar, Indiana Dakota J. Hahus, 29, passed away June 5, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 9, 1987, in Jasper. A graduate of Heritage Hills High School, Dakota worked at Santa Claus Utilities. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing ,hunting and spending time with his son. Dakota is survived by his son; Donavin Hahus; parents, Denise and Kent Burns, Lamar, Indiana and Jeff and Tammy Hahus, Tell City, Indiana; brother, Alec Burns (Kailee Zuelly), Cannelton, Indiana; grandparents, Donald and Mary Kelly, St. Croix, Indiana and Wanda Brown, Tell City, Indiana. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Leonard and Freda Hahus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Croix, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to help with education costs of Donavin.
