David Peter
November 23, 1964 — August 18, 2025
David A. “Pete” Peter, 60, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1964, and graduated from Tell City High School in 1983.
He worked at Waupaca Foundry and loved to go fishing and watch sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Bengals. David was always up for a night of playing (and winning) euchre. He was a simple guy who loved being with his family.
Surviving him are his wife of 36 years, Kelly (Jarboe) Peter; sons, Derek Peter and Justin C. Peter and sisters, Connie Bolin (Eugene), Tammy Devillez (Warren) and Charlotte Taylor.
Preceding him in death were his father, John Peter, mother and stepfather, Wilma and Herb Buchanan and a sister, Angie Stafford.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
