David Reed

Utica, Kentucky -

David E. Reed, 77, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Owensboro, Kentucky.

He was born in Canton, Illinois, the son of Samuel D. and Hazel L. (Patterson) Reed.

David retired as a district service manager for Mac Trucking and enjoyed his job as it involved computer work, which he loved. David was a Knights Templer and a Mason. His Christianity was the center of his life, and he was a strong admirer of Tommy Bates and Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.

Surviving him are a son, Lafey Blair, David’s two daughters and their mother. Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery.
