Debra Wilgus

Tell City, Indiana Debra S. "Deb" Wilgus, 58, passed away March 4, 2015, at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills. She was born August 29, 1956 in Tell City, daughter of the late George Wilgus and Ella (Nugent) Lassiter. Also preceding her in death was a sister Darlene Lechner. A graduate of Tell City High School, Deb worked as an aide in healthcare and was a volunteer at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and her animals. She is survived by her fiance; David Hill, Tell City; step-son, Marcus Hill, Owensboro, KY; brother, Brian Wilgus, Tell City; step-brothers, James "Doody" Claycomb, Salvisa, KY, Carl "Bud" Claycomb, Mountain Home, ID and John Roggio Wilgus, Long Island, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society.
