Dolores McManaway

Dolores J. McManaway, 93, passed away on February 23, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 26, 1932, to Frank and Clara Mae (Robinson) Gaynor.

Dolores had worked as a cook at Lincoln Hills Healthcare and the Perry County Sheriff's Department under Jon Deer however, she was a homemaker most of her life, as caring for her family was most important. Dolores enjoyed making crafts, needlework, crocheting and thrifting.

Surviving are her children, Paul McManaway (Vickie), Vicky Hinton (Clint), Glenn McManaway (Missy), Lisa Kruger (Terry) and Donna Parker (Daniel); brother, Frank Gaynor (Sheila) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. McManaway; a son, Mark McManaway; grandson, Dylan Kruger; and great grandson, Joseph Jochem.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CST on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Jim Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
