Don Bryant, Sr.

Donald Bryant, Sr., 88, passed away on August 27, 2026.

Don was born on February 8, 1938, son of Archie and Dallas (Masterson) Bryant.

Don was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service. He was a lifelong farmer who farmed a little bit of everything, but he mostly enjoyed livestock. Having come from a large family, Don always looked forward to family gatherings.

Surviving is his wife, Linda (Vandgrift) Bryant; his children, Donna Luft (Rick), Donald Bryant, Jr. “Bub” (Michelle), Archie Bryant, Bert Bryant (Kim) and Chris Bryant (Jess); brothers, Larry Bryant (Catherine) and Gary Bryant (Pat); grandchildren, Adam, Leslie Ann and Amber Luft, Latisha Zuchschwerdt, Kayla, Kari and Kodi Bryant and Bella Bryant and two great granddaughters, Aubree and Dallas.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a granddaughter, Ashley Bryant; a sister, Helen Beard and brothers, Archie, Jim, Vern, Wally, Ivan and his twin, Ron Bryant.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CDT on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Central Community Schools for the care of the mini forest.
