Donna E. Kratzer, 80, passed away on May 2, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 14, 1945, daughter of Walter “Boob” and Hazel (Brown) Amos. Donna graduated from Tell City High School in 1963. Soon after, she was united in marriage on January 25, 1964, at Evangelical United Church of Christ to Kenny Kratzer. They shared 55 years of raising a family and making memories until Kenny’s passing in 2019.

Throughout her life, Donna had worked at Tell City Chair Company, Perry County Memorial Hospital and McFall Family Meats. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing for bluegill and crappie and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Kim Myers (Bruce), Kevin Kratzer (Denise Smith) and Keith Kratzer (Michelle); siblings, Sharon Mullis (Merle), Bill Amos (Darlene), Allen Amos (Kathy), Marilyn McDaniel (Larry), Mary Amos and Jo Sodrel (Ronnie); grandchildren, Felicia Dupont (Ethan), Nakaa Egg (Matthew), Jourdan Riddle (Brendon), Brittany Owens (Clayton), Keaton Kratzer, Tyler Kratzer (Arikah), Alex DeWitt (Tanner), Jacklyn Finley (Tucker) and Gage Smith; great grandchildren, Elli, Piper and Remi Dupont, Camden Myers, Kyah and Haven Egg, Jace and Tessa Riddle, Emmalyn Kratzer, Laney Jackson, James and Isabella Owens, Marlee Kratzer and two more on the way.

Preceding her in death was her parents; husband, Kenny Kratzer; and siblings, Linda Ball, Bonnie Sabelhaus, her twin sister, Pat Reed, Martha Graves, Jerry Amos, Carolyn Amos and Terri Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM CDT on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial to follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
