Dora "Gran" Senn

Dora A. Senn, more fondly known as “Gran”, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at her home.

She was born on November 1, 1940, a daughter of Kirby and Christina (Layman) Riley. Dora worked at Hydro-Tex, formerly in Cannelton. She also cleaned for businesses and friends for several years.

“Gran” loved her family and always looked forward to visits or time when they all would get together. She did enjoy her quiet time, where she could have a cup of coffee and smoke a cigarette while catching up on Fox News.

Surviving are her children, Danny Senn (Amber), Doretta Flamion (Robert); sister, Regina Hempfling; brothers, Dennis Riley and Donald Riley; grandchildren, Chris Roark (Rachel), David Senn (Nichole), Jason Roark and Tiffany Briggeman (Joshua); twenty-five great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren with another on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Christina Riley; husband, Earl Senn, sisters, Laura King and Ethel Duke; brothers, Charles, Eugene and Paul Riley and a brother in infancy; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jamie and Jarred Roark and a great granddaughter, Kearstin Parker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM CST on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Troy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time.
