Doris Rodriguez

Tell City, Indiana - Doris Rodriguez, 93, passed away on June 1, 2019, at Golden Living Center. She was born in Johnson, Kansas on September 25, 1925. Her parents were the late Edward L. Drake and Nellie Rose (Roberts) Drake. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Rosa Jones and Clara Burke and brothers, Marley, John and Eddie Drake . A homemaker, Doris enjoyed music and singing with her sisters. She was a member of Tell City Congregation Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Tanzey, Tell City, Karen Winfrey, Alma, Arkansas, Kaye Phillips (Ernest), Tell City, Jimee Dee Sims, Hemit, California and Cindy Shaw, Sacramento, California; son, James Sims (Margie), Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Margie Thomas, Milpitas, California and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Tell City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
