Dorothy Tanner

A homemaker, she enjoyed caring for her home and family, cooking, dancing and playing euchre. She is survived by daughters; Rebecca Howell, Gatchel, Debbie Litherland, Tell City, Patty McCollom, Tell City, and Jennifer Hurst, Tell City, sons; Dennis Tanner, Fairmont, West Virginia, Michael Tanner, Owensboro, Randall Tanner, Tell City, Mark Tanner, Owensboro, and Brian Tanner, Tell City, sisters; Ruth Tanner, Fulda and Betty Jennings, Tell City, 29 grandchildren ,37 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Paul Vaughn will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
