Dwight Anderson

Cannelton, Indiana Dwight Anderson, 87, passed away at 10:30 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Petersburg, Indiana. Dwight was born September 14, 1920 in Cannelton son of the late Thomas and Kate (Bolivar) Anderson A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed playing the guitar Besides his parents Dwight was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stacie Anderson, three brothers, Wayne, Ray and Arthur ""Teddy"" Anderson and a sister Edith Downs. He is survived by: A daughter, Carolyn Etienne, Santa Claus, Indiana A son, Charles Anderson, Cannelton, Indiana Four grandchildren: Patricia Vaal, Christina Henderson, Philip Etienne, & Charles Anderson Nine great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Huber Funeral Home-Cannelton Chapel. Burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton with military graveside rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 2939 and Harry G. Myers American Legion Post # 142. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry G. Myers American Legion Post # 142 or Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 2939.
