Charles Edward Guillaume, 77, of Leopold, Indiana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on August 15, 2025, at his home.

Ed was born on August 25, 1947, in Evansville, Indiana, to Hubert A. and Stella M. (Keller) Guillaume. He grew up on his beloved family farm alongside his siblings, Mildred Kelly and Bill Guillaume. Ed was a proud 1966 graduate of Perry Central High School. A lifelong member of the VFW Post #2939, he was also active in the Branchville Conservation Club. Ed was a founding member and president of the Ohio Valley Tractor Association.

After serving in the United States Army’s First Calvary Division in Vietnam, Ed married his high school sweetheart, Beverly Ann Guillaume, on April 20, 1968, at St. Augustine Catholic Church where they were lifelong members. They shared 57 years together, building a life filled with children, grandchildren, family, friends, love, memories, and laughter.

Ed retired from National Southwire Aluminum after 24 years of service, then devoted himself fully to his true passion, farming, which he pursued for the rest of his life. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, dancing, and especially sharing homemade meals and sweets with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Guillaume; children Jerry (Vicky) Guillaume, Chad (Carrie) Guillaume, Charles Robert (Jamie) Guillaume, and Colette (Jason) Cunningham; sister Mildred Kelly; brother Bill (Eva) Guillaume; brother-in-law John (Pam) Guillaume; grandchildren Nick (Jessica) Seger, Cody, Carson Hubert, Charles Gavin, and Jacob Guillaume, and Stella “Maggie” and Joseph Cunningham; great-grandchildren Skylar, Easton, and Kylen Seger; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Stella Guillaume; father and mother-in law Ernest and Myrtle (LeClere) Guillaume; brothers-in-law Irvin Kelly and Robert Edwards; and sister-in-law Judy Edwards.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. CDT on Monday, August 18, 2025, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery where there will be military rites. Visitation will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 8:00-9:15 a.m. on Monday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate.
