Edith Harding

Tell City, Indiana Edith Harding, 99, passed away September 25, 2016 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport, KY. She was born February 8, 1917 in Cannelton, Indiana, daughter of the late Hiram W. and Margaret Ann (Shepherd) Bolin. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James W. "Bill" Harding; son, David Harding; granddaughter, Mona "Lisa" Miles; great grandson, Ryan Miles; sister, Goldie Freeman; brothers, Ed, Andy, Robert, Charles, Oscar, John and Joseph Bolin. Edith was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cannelton and enjoyed volunteering for things and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Billy Harding (Mona), Cannelton, four grandchildren, Jim, Tim and Chris Harding and Mary Jo Gentry and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Cannelton.
