Edward Briggeman

Ed was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. He was united in marriage in 1944 at St. Mark's Catholic Church to the former Irene Malone who passed away in 2001. Ed retired as a carpenter from the Indiana Kentucky Carpenters Union. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post #2939. Ed enjoyed fishing. He is survived by a son Gary ""Boogie"" Briggeman, Tell City,2 daughters, Beverly Briggeman, Maitland, Florida and Karen Briggeman, Winter Springs, Florida, brother, James Briggeman, Tell City and sister, Marjorie Gehlhausen, Jasper, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery where there will be military graveside rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2939. Rev. Barnabas Gillespie O.S.B. will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
