Faye Mills

Tell City, Indiana

 Faye Mills, 87, passed away on February 11, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. 

 She was born to the late Clifford and Evelyn (Jenkins) Sandage on December 10, 1937.

 Faye was the owner of The June Bug Bridal and Formal Wear, formerly in Tell City. She was a talented seamstress that continued alterations after retiring. 

 Faye loved social gatherings where she could chat and catch up with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crosswords and sudoku puzzles.

 Surviving are her children, Mike Mills (Patty), Lakeland, FL, Kathy Mills York (John), Ormond Beach, FL and Tracy Mills (Tabby), St. Cloud, FL; sisters, Jan Petersen, Huntsville, AL, Donna Milowski, Palatine, IL and Kris Rice, Tell City; grandchildren, Brittany Mills Watford, Lindsay Penley, Chris Sabelhaus, Casey Hall and Megan Mills and 13 great grandchildren. 

 Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 61 years, Paul, in 2018 and a grandson, Cliff Jackson. 

 Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
