Florene “Flo” Lamb, 93, passed away on January 7, 2026.
She was born in Richmond, Kentucky, on June 15, 1932.
In earlier years, Flo enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on the river on their houseboat, nearly every weekend. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and often subbed in other card clubs. Later in life, Rod and Flo spent their retirement years in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where she enjoyed attending church services at Chapel by The Sea. Although they loved being near the water, they looked forward to the warmer months in Cannelton, where they could spend time with their children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Teresa Kuster (Brian), Fort Myers Beach, FL and Stephen Lamb (Michelle), Tell City; daughter-in-law, Glenda Stone, Newburgh; grandchildren, Ashlee Neighbors (Randy), Jace Stone, Nic Stone (Laura), Tyler Stone (Christina), Kacie Moore (Brandon), Halee Rugenstein (Joe) and Maggie Lamb and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rod Lamb in 2023; a son, Darrell Stone and her parents, Fred Whitaker and Eunice (Agee) Parks.
Funeral services will be held private, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, is assisting her family with arrangements.
