Frank Bolin

Tell City, Indiana Frank R. Bolin, 76, passed away April 21, 2020. He was born in Cannelton, Indiana on October 20, 1943 to the late Frank R. and Malinda (Jarboe) Bolin. Frank was united in marriage on November 6, 1965 to Ruth Williams, who survives. In 1967 he was drafted into the Army where he served in Vietnam until being honorably discharged in 1969. Frank retired in 2009 after 40 years with Frank Miller Construction, formerly in Evanston. He was a member of Community Christian Church and V.F.W. Post #2939. He enjoyed farming and raising animals, spending time and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Bolin, Tell City; daughter, Suzy Nugent (Kevin), Tell City; sister, Faye Schroeder, Henryville; brothers, Paul Bolin (Jane), Willow Creek, CA and Richard Bolin (Tammy), Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, Brittany Beier and Cody Nugent and great grandchildren, Lucas Beier, Kieran Grosvenor, Ryann Beier, Alexis Beier, Kyra Beier, Cayden, Conner, Layla, Carter and Lola Nugent. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Geneva Burst, Ruby Hess and Evelyn Hammack and brothers, Russell and Earl Bolin. Due to mandates concerning Covid-19, services will be private with burial in Bolin Cemetery.
