Gary L. Herrmann

Tell City, Indiana

Gary L. Herrmann, 81, passed away on November 26, 2023.

He was born on October 31, 1942, the son of Oscar and Leveva “Mary” (Hanaway) Herrmann.

Gary was a veteran, serving in both the United States Army and the Marine Corp. He retired from Alcoa, where he worked in maintenance.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #213.

Surviving are his sons, Greg Herrmann of Tell City and Mark Herrmann of Coatesville, IN; grandchildren, Samantha Herrmann and Michael Herrmann and great grandchildren, Blaiklee and Maverick.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Vicky (Jarboe) Herrmann; a sister, Jane Gullick and brother, David Herrmann.

As per Gary’s request, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City is assisting with arrangements.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
