Gordon D. Hess, 68, formerly of Perry County, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Simi Valley, California, where he lived.

He graduated from Tell City High School in 1975 and had an associate degree in electronic engineering from R.E.T.S. Electronic Institute where Gordon was awarded a certificate for outstanding scholarship performance. After graduation, he accepted a position as a senior electronic technician in Los Angeles, California.

Gordon enjoyed camping and always looked forward to his next travel adventure. He also was perfectly content just being at home, especially relaxing by his pool.

Surviving him is a brother, Carlton Hess (Pam); nephews, Ryan Hess (Brandi) and Neil Hess (Julie) and their children and a good friend, Ed Berdugo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Myrtle (Scifres) Hess.

Funeral services will be private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
