Henry Harrison, Sr.

Cannelton, Indiana - Henry W. Harrison, Sr., 78, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his home. He was born in Rome, Indiana, on March 8, 1939, son of the late C. L. and Genevie (McCallister) Harrison. Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Carolyn McDaniel; sisters, Joyce Redmond, Margaret McDaniel and Mary Jo Sturgeon and a brother, Bobby Harrison. Henry was the owner and operator of Harrison's Auto Salvage. When he had spare time from working at the salvage yard, he enjoyed visiting with friends and family and watching wrestling. Surviving are his wife, Anna (Smith) Harrison; sons, Henry Harrison, Jr. Tell City, Freddie Harrison (Helen), Scott Harrison and Steven Harrison, all of Tell City; daughters, Priscilla McMahan and Phyllis "Squeaky" Henson, both of Tell City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. Henry will be buried in Gilliland Cemetery near Derby.
