John Reid Sr.

Tell City, Indiana John J. Reid, Sr., 73, passed away August 11, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills. He was born June 17, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late William and Mary (Mastrota ) Reid. John was also preceded in death by a son, John Joseph Reid in infancy. John enjoyed woodworking, cooking, drawing, puzzles, and collecting swords. He is survived by daughters; Theresa King, Orlando, FL, Maryann Bouse, Orlando, FL, Denise Glispie, Petersburg, IN and Dawn Reid, South Hampton, NY; sons, John Reid, Jr., Tell City, IN and Christopher Reid, Cannelton, IN; brother, Bill Reid, NY; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation is from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter and Golden Living Center Activity Fund.
