Larry "Mooch" Persinger

Larry G. “Mooch” Persinger, 71, passed away on March 20, 2026.

Born on October 16, 1954, Mooch graduated from Cannelton High School in 1973. He enjoyed fishing and reading westerns.

Surviving are his siblings, Jerry Persinger (Becky), Patsy Wilson and Brian Stephens (Lisa) and nieces and nephews, Heather Knieriem (Ryan), Wendi Nugent (Brock), Kim Boswell, Greg Rickel (Rhonda) and Tracy Rickel.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James Persinger and Norma (Howe) Stephens.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Brickyard Healthcare for the family-like atmosphere they provided for Mooch during his stay.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in New Cliff Cemetery.
