Larry Pruitt

Larry James Pruitt, 81, passed away on October 22, 2025, at Heartford House. In Owensboro.

He was born in Henderson, Kentucky on November 28, 1943, a son of Thurman and Marie (Masterson) Pruitt.

Larry retired from National Southwire Aluminum, where he was a boat pilot. He enjoyed old cars and going to car shows, woodworking and watching sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He also served in the National Guard.

Surviving are his sons, Jeff Pruitt (Ange’Lee) and Tim Pruitt; a brother, Ray Pruitt (Janice) and his grandchildren, Alex, Ethan and Emma Pruitt and Jalynn and Devin Pruitt.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Maxine Sabelhaus, Carol Greene, Charlotte Bennett and Nancy Proctor and brothers, David and Eddie Pruitt.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM CDT on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is handling arrangements.
