Lee Allen Snyder, 83, passed away on May 4, 2025.
He was born in Jasper on January 20, 1942, the youngest son of Edward H. and Genola C. (VanHoosier) Snyder.
After high school, Lee Allen served his country in the United States Navy. He was a lifelong electrician and retired from what was formerly called World Source which was located in Hawesville, Kentucky.
Lee Allen is a member of The Shepherd’s Chapel, a church located in Gravette, Arkansas.
He and his wife have enjoyed a life of simplicity, loving animals and nature in all of its beauty. Lee Allen also liked flower and vegetable gardening and spending time with his wife walking their creeks for fossils and interesting rocks.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lucinda Snyder; sisters, Deb Snyder and Janet Snyder and a sister-in-law, Mary Snyder. Lee Allen was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Genola Snyder and a brother, Jim Snyder.
Lee Allen’s request not to have any visitation or funeral service is being honored. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting Lucinda with his wishes.
