Leonard Bolin

Tell City, Indiana Leonard Bolin, 87, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Perry County on May 1, 1924. His parents were the late George and Ollie (Layman) Bolin. Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Dorothy; sisters, Edna, Katie, Eloise and Ida Mae and his brother, Clarence. Leonard was united in marriage on December 26, 1950, to Verona Mae Kellems, who survives him. He retired, after 30 years, from Fischer Chair Company and Best Chairs. Leonard was a member of Berean Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mae Bolin; daughters, Karen Kellems, Tell City and Kathy Hinton (Roy), Hawesville, Kentucky and a son, Stephen Bolin (Mary), Cannelton; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Monday, December 19, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Berean Baptist Church.
