Marilyn H. Brock, 87, passed away on May 11, 2026, at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper.
She was born on September 5, 1938, daughter of Roy and Elsie (Litherland) Humphrey.
Marilyn was united in marriage on August 19, 1956, to Arlie Brock, at Chestnut Grove Church and spent a lifetime traveling and ministering to so many. She proclaimed a God given ability to play the piano and sing. Recently, at a doctor’s appointment, Marilyn walked in the lobby and spotted a baby grand piano and her eyes lit up. She marched over, sat down and started playing, putting smiles on lots of faces that day.
Surviving are her children, Tim Miller (Jennifer), Doug Brock (Lisa), Lois Dauby (Tim) and Faith Damin (Mike); grandchildren, Tonya Wilke, Kelly Schmitt, Joshua Brock, Amber Williams, Jessica Alvey, Bethany Kerchief and Mallory Connor; 21 great grandchildren, with one on the way and one great-great grandson.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arlie Brock in 2021; sisters, Maxine Nelson and Reva Burden; and brothers, Gene Humphrey, Gary Humphrey and Leroy Humphrey, in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30AM until service time at the funeral home.
