Marvin Lane

Tell City, Indiana - Marvin A. Lane, Jr., 53, passed away on March 8, 2023 at his home. He was born in Tell City, on September 15, 1969, son of Marvin A. Lane, Sr. and Christine (Sims) Lane. A 1988 graduate of Tell City High School, Marvin enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, singing and cooking for family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Christine Lane, Tell City; sister, Angella Gee, of Oklahoma; brothers, Thomas Lane, of North Carolina and Kevin Lane (Tina) of Tell City; a niece, that he raised as his own, Josie Gee, Oklahoma and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His father, Marvin A. Lane, Sr., preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with visitation from 3:00 PM until service time. Burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
