Mary A. Seibert, 84, passed away on September 20, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Tell City on January 18, 1941, daughter of August and Elizabeth (Bender) Jenkins.
Mary graduated in 1959 from Tell City High School. She retired from the former Tell City National Bank, where she was a bank teller and loan officer for over 30 years.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a 37-year member of Daughters of Isabella, where she served as Indiana State Regent Officer and Vice Regent and was currently Local Regent Officer. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and bunco, IU Basketball and watching games shows.
Surviving are her children, David Seibert (Cindy) and Barbara Powers; sister, Becky Hagedorn (Albert); grandchildren, Katie Olberding, Allen Walker, Deanna Harmon (Kevin), Devin Meunier (Sierra), Sammi Boyer- Hanks (Kyle) and Shawn Cassidy (Steven); several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Darrel Seibert; son in law, Bob Powers; grandson, Elijah Meunier and sisters, Nancy Kast and Sharon Hauser.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. There will be a D of I service at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
