Melody Garcia

Tell City, Indiana' Melody S. "Mel" Garcia, 54, passed away March 31, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born November 1, 1961 in Tell City, Indiana, daughter of the late Hilda (Tate) Conner. Mel was also preceded in death by a sister. Mel was a manager of Ponderosa and attended Patesville Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Juan Garcia; daughters, Samantha Jackson and Breanna Bradfield; son, Chris Garcia; sister, Ramona Simpson; brother, Kevin Miles; three grandchildren, Robbie Wood, Isaiah Jackson and Serenity Bradfield. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport. Pastor Steve Jackson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday.
