Mitchell Byrne

Clarksville, Indiana - Mitchell L. "Mitch" Byrne, 77, passed away on June 11, 2021. He was born on August 7, 1943, son of Dr. Dale and June V. (Martin) Byrne. Mitch studied music at Indiana University School of Music and carried a lifelong love of music. He was a musician at heart but dearly loved helping stray animals return to good health and then find them loving homes. Surviving is his wife, Deborah (Harris) Byrne; daughter, Lauren L. Byrne; sisters, Sandra Stewart and Karen Robinson; niece, Kori Horn; two great nieces and a great nephew. Besides his parents, his mother-in-law, Ernestine Harris, formerly of Perry County, also preceded him in death. He had a dear relationship with them all. There will be no services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, will be assisting the family with his wishes. Memorial contributions may be given to Clark County Animal Rescue.
