Myrna H. Rogier, 75, passed away on October 19, 2022 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1947 in Tell City, daughter of Jacob and Olive Mae (Nichols) Seibert, who preceded her in death. Myrna was a 1965 graduate of Cannelton High School. She was united in marriage to James E. "Jim" Rogier, who survives, on March 15, 1980. She had worked at Tell City Chair Company for over 30 years and retired from Branchville Correctional Facility. Myrna was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where she loved to play the organ; playing for several county churches, weddings and funerals. Myrna enjoyed working cross word puzzles and Sudoku, NASCAR and watching sports, especially IU basketball. Myrna will always be remembered for her gentle existence and welcoming smile. She loved spending time with her family and friends and would always look forward to their visiting. Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Jim Rogier, Tell City; sons, Nathan Rogier (Angel), Tell City, Aaron Rogier (Shana), Cannelton and Christopher Rogier, Tell City; sister, Rebecca Rhinefort (David), Ft. Branch; grandchildren, Brigg, Braxx and Brystal Rogier, Hadley and Rowyn Rogier, Shilah and Suri McMahan and Silas Knapp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00-10:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church. Huber Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of our friend, Myrna.
