Nancy Ilene Lyons, 74, passed away on May 30, 2025, at Heart to Heart Hospice House in Evansville.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 5, 1951, to William and Lucille (Maraman) Kendall.

Nancy was a 1969 graduate of Tell City High School. She had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aide, served as Troy Township Trustee and as a children's caregiver in her home.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing bingo, and listening to audio books.

Surviving are her sons, Jason Lyons (Kelly Wolfe) and Brent Lyons (Anh Uyen Thi Phan), grandchildren, Connor Lyons, Sophia Anh Thu Nguyen, and Ellison Wolfe, and nieces and nephews, Robert Curry, Teresa Waddington, Deanna Williams, Robbie Kendall, and Kim Kendall.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Dennis Lyons in 2022, sister, Judith Ann Allen, and brother, William Joseph Kendall.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following individuals for their kind, compassionate care of Nancy: Dr. Tony Stephens, Heather, Megan, and Paula at Heart to Heart Hospice, and Arthur, Connor, and Lela at Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh.

Per Nancy’s request, there will be no services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting the family.

Because Nancy loved animals, memorial contributions may be made to It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue in Evansville at itvrescue.com.

Condolences may be left at www.huberfuneralhome.net
