Nelda Foerster

Tell City, Indiana Nelda M. Foerster, 76, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1935, in Bristow daughter of the late Alva and Lizzie (Foster) McKim. Also preceding her in death were a sister, Jan Hammack and brothers, Coy, Eldon and Marvin McKim. Nelda was united in marriage to Harold Foerster November 3, 1956 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church where they are members. A homemaker, she enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Foerster; daughters, Cindy Taylor (Warren), Cathy Greubel (Gary), and Carol Pannett (Jeff), all of Tell City; sisters, Enid Kessner, Bristow and Phillis Gleason, Racine, WI; brother, Jack McKim, Tell City; 6 grandchildren, Allegra Taylor, Chelsea Schaaf McCallister, Hunter Greubel, Sam Litherland, Krystal Litherland Braun and Felicia Litherland Robbins; 2 step-grandchildren, Ryan Taylor and Brandon Taylor; 2 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
