Phyllis Dawson

Phyllis Dawson, 64 NEWBURGH - Phyllis Sue Dawson, 64, of Newburgh passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at her home. She was a registered nurse and retired in 2009. She was a 1965 graduate of Tell City High School. Phyllis enjoyed dancing and spending time with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Dawson; her parents, Joseph and Loretta Rudisill; a grandmother, Adeline Mundy; a brother, John Rudisill and a sister, Mary Durbin. Phyllis is survived by her son, Stephen Dawson and his wife, Amy, of Chandler; a daughter, Suzanne Seiler of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Shawn, Nathen, Courtney, Zachary, Sarah, Caleb, Christopher and Dylan; her great-grandson, Hunter and three other great-grandchildren on the way; a sister, Linda Rudisill; her brother, Scott Rudisill; her half-brothers, Mike and Steven Rudisill and a half-sister, Joanne Rudisill. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
