Pauline M. “Polly” Sprinkle, 95, passed away on April 9, 2025, at Oakwood Health Campus.
She was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 6, 1930, to John and Theresa (Werne) Dick.
Polly was a graduate of Dale High School and had worked for General Electric and retired from Abbey Press. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
She was an avid sports fan that included the St. Louis Cardinals, Indiana Pacers and men’s and women’s IU basketball. Polly loved to chat with anyone; often resulting in very long phone calls to her family and friends. She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles.
Surviving are her two sons, Steve Sprinkle (Becky) and Paul Sprinkle (Michelle); nephew, Warren Taylor (Cindi), who she helped raise; grandchildren, Tricia Hudson (John), Chelsea Wronowicz (Matt), Lucas Sprinkle (Candace Hurst), Tyler Sprinkle (Sara), Alyssa Wagle (Cory) and Logan Dukeman; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Leo Sprinkle; brothers, Sylvester Dick and John Dick, Jr. and sisters, Dorothy LaGrange and Margaret Dick.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Cemetery.
