Rita Polen

Rita Faye Polen, 75, formerly of Tell City, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Sylacauga, Alabama.

She was born on April 1, 1950, in Cannelton, Indiana to Norman Bolin and Laura (Russel) Burden.

Rita was strong in her faith. She enjoyed church and listening to gospel music. She looked forward to time spent with family.

Surviving is her husband, Robert “Bob” Polen; children, Jamie Polen (Missy), Roberta Angle (Tim), Steve Polen (Breauna) and Michelle Fannin (Dale); a brother, Dennis Bolin (Peggy); grandchildren, Brittany Polen, Giles Pugh, Allison Clifton, Alexis and Abby Fannin, Grayson Polen, Jason Knight and Cassie and Carli Polen and great grandchildren, Ellie Mae Clifton and Olivia Polen.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Russell Bolin.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM CST on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Bolin Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
